At the ninth annual Student Academic Showcase and Honors (SASH), students presented research and capstone projects, to faculty, staff, and their peers, held panel discussions, a music showcase and more.
In her 'Great Powers and Great Responsibilities' course, Annika Hagley uses the superhero genre to dive into conversations about politics, culture, and society.
In her CORE 101 class, Heather Miceli puts students in charge of their own learning: Directing class discussions, creating and teaching content, grading themselves. Students say it鈥檚 increased their confidence and shown them how science is relevant in their everyday lives.
New partnership will leverage faculty and student expertise and research, while preparing 小蓝视频鈥檚 graduates for careers in the blue economy and environmental-related work.
Students, Faculty, and Staff gathered in-person to celebrate outstanding student contributions and leadership on May 2, with families and friends attending virtually.
"One of the most exciting things to happen at a university is the creation of new knowledge," said 小蓝视频 President Ioannis Miaoulis. "SASH is a day celebrating scholarship for the University. It gives an opportunity for students and faculty to go around and see all the creative work from this year."
